The Free2B! sixth annual Taste of Blaine at the National Sports Center in Blaine, on Thursday, February 17, 2011 was a huge success. Over a 1,000 people enjoyed the food from 36 different restaurants. The funds received from this event benefited Free2B! and went a long way to help with the cost of car repairs for low income residents in Anoka County. Free2B! is a nonprofit 501 C 3 agency that accepts donated cars, repairs them, and then donates them to eligible Anoka County residents to help them achieve economic security and self-sufficiency. The Free2B! Car Care Program includes components of repair or provides initial transportation for individuals in need.
